Our passionate team strive to produce fantastic quality pub food. We love our traditional classics, but also work to bring you beautiful flavours from around the globe. We always recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment, so please use the buttons below to contact us or book online.
We aim to use as much local produce as possible and we pride ourselves on growing as much as we can on site for our menus. This includes using our veggie garden, orchard and poly-tunnels for heritage vegetables, salads, fruit and herbs. We run an everchanging seasonal specials board, so come and see what's on at the moment. If we can't grow it on site, we will try to source as locally as possible, such as venison from the Badminton Estate or wagyu beef from the Cotswolds.
Are you planning a special occasion? We can help! We have years of experience in producing fabulous bespoke meals, from large tables in the pub to huge banquets in our new function barn or outside in our grounds. We will endeavour to work with you to make sure you get the day that you want.
So, whether you want dinner for two, a party for thirty or even three hundred, we can do it.
Our legendary Sunday roast
Every Sunday from 12pm - 5pm we serve our famous Holford roast dinners. Currently on the menu is our gorgeous slow roasted belly of pork, rare slow roasted topside of beef and our new whole chicken sharer. We also do roast Halloumi.
Catering your events
Our team of talented and dedicated chefs can cater to an event of any size from a small family get-together in the pub to a sit down meal for two hundred. We can do it all while delivering the same quality and experience.
Drink with us
We’re not only passionate about our food but our drinks too, serving quality beers from Lost and Grounded in Bristol, who won a gold medal in 2022 for best brewery. We also have a fine selection of fine wines and spirits to suit all tastes.
